Overview
In battery management systems installed in electric and hybrid vehicles, redundancy of monitoring systems is required to enhance safety.
All cells can be measured simultaneously and redundantly with two individual analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), which operate with a high sampling rate of 4.096 MHz, allowing reduced external analog filtering and aliasing-free measurement results. In this report, the circuit of the red-framed [ADC, AUX, Power Management, VREF, OSC, Communication and ESD(GPIO,VREF2)] shown in Die A were analyzed and clarified the device layouts and circuit configurations.
